As IT Service Desk Specialist in MSC Shared Service Centre Riga you will be a professional who is constantly applying efforts to identify and implement required business needs in business applications and IT infrastructure. Responsible for the execution of Service Level Agreement, ensure IT systems and applications functionality through providing support for operations, maintenance and recoverability of centralized IT infrastructure. Position is temporary for 1.5 years.
IT background or education
Experience with IT or similar Helpdesk and Support services
Knowledge about ITIL concept is preferable
Good communication skills – spoken/written English.
Provide 1st level support for all systems in area of responsibility (mainly for business applications)
Logging, categorizing and prioritizing all requests
First line investigation, diagnosis and resolution
Managing the lifecycle of incidents and requests
Escalating incidents and requests to 2nd level support
Keeping users informed on the status of incidents, requests and services
Support users to identify business opportunities, prioritize and document requirements
Facilitate and maintain problems resolution
Identify and coordinate training requirements to the key and end users
Develop end-user documentation
